The classic Dunajec rafting route is 18 km (Sromowce Niżne to Krościenko) and takes 2.5–3 hours on the water. The extended route to Szczawnica is 33 km and takes 5–6 hours. Both routes pass through the Pieniński Przełom (Dunajec Gorge), a UNESCO-nominated section with limestone cliffs rising 300 m above the river.
